Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide significantly affects the global climates. VTI Energy enables organizations to combat climate change by reducing their carbon footprint through environmental commodities certificates and voluntary emission offsets.

Certified Emission Reduction (CERs) are issued under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol. They represent one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) that has been reduced or removed from the atmosphere through a CDM-approved emission reduction project in developing countries.

Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Certificates are issued under the Verified Carbon Standard, a widely used voluntary carbon standard. They represent one tonne of CO2e that has been reduced or removed from the atmosphere through a voluntary emission reduction project.

European Union Allowances (EUAs) are issued under the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). They represent the right to emit one tonne of CO2 within the EU, and companies in regulated industries use them to comply with their emissions reduction targets.

Verified Emission Reductions (VER) certificate validates the reductions of one metric ton of CO2 equivalent emissions. Companies utilize VERs to offset their carbon emissions voluntarily, rewarding their efforts to combat climate change by adhering to specific regulations and standards.

Chinese Certified Emission Reduction (CCERs) are issued under China's domestic carbon market and represent one tonne of CO2e that has been reduced or removed from the atmosphere through an emission reduction project in China.
